A Bit About Me

These little songs grew out of my experience as a mother, and then through many years of working with young children.

Again and again, I noticed that when everyday tasks were accompanied by a simple melody - tidying up, getting dressed, washing hands- children responded differently. The atmosphere softened, and children often joined in with surprising willingness.

Over time, I began creating more and more small chants to help guide these everyday moments and transitions. The melodies are intentionally simple, repetitive, and easy for children to learn, so that they can quickly join in and participate.

I believe singing offers something gentle but powerful in a child’s day. Rhythm and melody help children anticipate what comes next, while the shared experience of singing brings warmth, connection, and a sense of ease.

My hope is that these songs, which have already been enjoyed by many children and families, might help bring a little more calm, joy, and togetherness to the everyday moments you share too.
